Condition : the cover, if you really want to find fault, shows few slight small creases along the edges of the laminated front, NEAR MINT / vinyl has only a few cosmetic rubs which do not affect listening at all, NEAR MINT

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : in un divertente film commedia Goodwin utilizza sapientemente la musica leggera arrangiandola però in composizioni sinfoniche per grande orchestra. Il musicista Britannico conferisce alla colonna sonora un carattere generale ricco di brio, freschezza ed allegria eliminando quelle ampollosità che una sua scelta per temi di musica classica tout court avrebbero potuto dare al film. Il risultato è davvero eccellente e l'ascolto dell'album è piacevolissimo. Esce dallo schema sopradescritto "Margot's Party" (a4), brano di natura jazz romantico con un buon pianoforte.  

Notes : in an amusing comedy movie, Goodwin skillfully uses pop music though with an symphonic arrangement for large orchestra. The British musician confers on the soundtrack a general feature rich in liveliness, freshness and cheerfulness eliminating those pomposities that his choice for classical music themes, tout court, could have given to the film. The result is really excellent and the listening of the album is very pleasant. Outside of the music pattern described above we find "Margot's Party" (a4), a tune by romantic jazz nature with a good piano.

Un film divertente e privo di volgarità a dispetto del titolo, prodotto dalla Gran Bretagna. Regia di John Krish, con Felix Aylmer, Colin Blakely, Robert Harris, Genevieve Page, Patrick Magee e Leo McKern.
