Description
A great original pressing of the 1961 Where? album on Status (ST 8265) featuring Eric Dolphy, Mal Waldron, George Duvivier and Charles Persip. The address on the back cover reads "Status Records, 203 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J."
This one has an orange Status label. "VAN GELDER" is machine-etched in the trail off. The matrix reads: "NJLP-8265."
The cover looks great with only some slight discoloration from age. There is a small fading "S-185" in blue pen in the top left corner. The year "1961" is underlined in blue pen on the back cover. The bottom two corners are very slightly dinged.
The vinyl is VG+ (8 out of 10, great looking record with only a small mark or two, some dust, slight paper scuffs). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
