Description

Original 1960's Hong Kong 7"Singles

This issue has an unusual Decca coupling of A and B side, with The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man the 'B' side. (In UK 'Spider and the Fly')

Some of the  singles may look only fair but play beyond good to at least VG by Record Collector grading standards. Of course the run-in can be noisy and there can be the odd crackle but they still sound great on my Dansette! These Hong Kong issues were limited press runs and are sought after by collectors and completists of the particular artist. These singles are extremely rare and it is not often that these appear on ebay at an affordable price.

I offer a full money back guarantee if not happy with the product.

Please notice~~these seem to have been issued without centres ~~~the centre does not seem to have been removed.

GRADING ~ VG- : plays beyond VG (not in the best of shape but an extemely rare Stones collectible!

GRADING I grade Lps and some singles both visually and aurally for overall sound quality on a Linn LP12 based system. (Although early 50's + 60's singles on a Dansette) Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.

Please remember very few singles are totally 'quiet' in the run-in/run-out grooves (even those listed on some sites as unplayed!!) ...but once the music starts~~WOW!!!

NEAR MINT (NM)~~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. 7" is guaranteed to sound superb.

NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX++)~~audio listening has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the 7" will sound really good and it will be hard to find a better copy. You should not be disappointed.

VG+VG++~~audio listening has revealed some very limited surface noise or the odd crackle especially at run-in/run-out grooves, as is common with many singles~~but overall should still sounds fine. Visually the 7" may have light scuffs but nothing major though it has obviously been played a few times. The 7" and company sleeve will be fine until a better copy comes along.

STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE!!

VG~~not great and may have surface noise and run in groove. Still plays without skips and major distortion and no deep felt scratches~~~definitely  worth it for rarity value or until a better copy comes along.

Still sounds OK on play.
