UK FIRST PRESSING GROOVED LABEL UNBOXED DECCA MONO VINYL LP IN 3-D LAMINATED GATEFOLD WITH RED INNER.
There are more differeing opinions about this Stones album thanany other - some say it is a lot of Sgt. Pepper-copyist tosh, others that is a bonafide psychedelic mastrepiece. It is both: psychedelia was a load of drug-induced tosh, but it was darn fun tosh the likes of which were never eally captured again by anyone - yes it's the Stones' trying to top Sgt. Pepper, yes its full of nonsense songs, but it sounds AMAZING - it is an incredible recorded sound, the likes of which we will never hear again - this the Stones' most over-rated and under-rated album at the same time. One thing is for sure, until you ahv heard a true first mono pressing on UK Decca vinyl, you really have never heard this album in all it's bizarre glory - we are offering one of the best copies we have ever seen of this title, so do not let it pass you by.

SLEEVE: EXCELLENT MINUS - A LOVELY EXAMPLE CONSIDERING ITS AGE, WITH A SMALL MIDDLE TOP SEAM SPLIT AN INCH OR SO WHERE THE DISC SLIDES IN. LAMINATE STRONG AND TIGHT, 3-D IMAGE NICELY CENTRED AND LOOKING GOOD WITH MINIMAL SCUFFING, SPINE AND EDGES ALL CLEAN AND TIGHT, STILL SOME OF THAT 'CRACKLE' WHEN YOU OPEN THE GATEFOLD, SMALL MARK TOP RIGHT FRONT NOT REALLY NOTICEABLE, SMALL CORNER CREASE RIGHT BOTTOM - INSIDE GATEFOLD COLOURS GLORIOUS AND STRONG - ALL IN ALL THIS IS A SPLENDID SLEEVE FROM 1967, AND THE FRAGILE RED INNER IS N GOOD SHAPE WITH ONLY A SMALL CENTRE BOTTOM SEAM SPLIT AND CORNER CREASES.
DISC: EXCELLENT. LOVELY CLEAN, SHINY VINYL THAT DOES NOT LOOK PLAYED MORE THAN A FEW TIMES, NO MARKS OR SCRATCHES AND MINIMAL SPINDLE WEAR, CLEAN LABELS, JUST A FEW VERY LIGHT HAIRLINES. A SUPERB PLAYING COPY THAT SOUNDS AMAZING, IT REALLY IS A UNIQUE LISTENING EXPERIENCE - FORGET REISSUES, THE MUDDLED STEREO MIX AND THE CD ISSUES, THEY ARE ALL AWFUL COMPARED TO THE MAJESTY OF THE MONO UK ORIGINAL PRESSINGS. THIS COPY SHOULD SATISFY ALL BUT A PERFECTIONIST.
