UK 1st pressing on turquoise/silver 'unboxed' DECCA labels. TXL 103. (1967).
Grades EX+/EX- (Cover graded first).
144 gram MONO first pressing!
Original UK MONO pressing LP of this 'Stones-go-psychedelic' album on earliest turquoise/silver DECCA unboxed labels. This copy is very clean and free of the usual wear and tear that often plague the majority of the copies seen of this album.
The UK Gatefold sleeve with 3D paste-on grades full EXCELLENT (EX) to EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition overall. Intact, fully legible spine. Clean, vibrant and solid condition with only very, very minor handling and storage wear. There are NO rips, tears or repairs to this sleeve. NO writing, NO sticker marks, NO ring wear, spine wear, edge wear or shelf wear. Simply incredible. Most would grade this higher than I have.
Includes the original and extremely fragile red/white inner sleeve - in lovely condition (VG+/EX-). Only a few signs of handling. Split on one side (approx 3 cms), and one along the bottom (approx 9 cms). I will supply a (later) generic poly-lined inner sleeve also.
Vinyl grades EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) to EXCELLENT (EX) condition. I am conservative with my grading. Some would grade this higher. Plays and sounds fantastic throughout with only some intrusive crackle between tracks and in quieter areas.. A handful of visible hairlines and light hairline NON-FEELABLE scratches but really nice copy. The MONO mix cuts through every time. Beautiful glossy vinyl.
