So, so hard to find, the Stones all time classic psychedelic album and here it is where it all came together from start to finish to challenge the likes of Sgt. Pepper, Pet Sounds and all. Although not taken up in huge numbers at the time, the album has gained a tremendous reputation as a psych masterpiece in recent times. This copy has the original first press 3D gatefold cover and the unboxed Decca labels.
SO HARD TO FIND THIS ALBUM IN THIS FANTASTIC CONDITION AND WITH THE RED INNER SLEEVE. THIS WILL BE AN UPGRADE FOR MOST SERIOUS COLLECTORS. IT IS VERY HARD THESE DAYS TO STILL FIND THIS GEM IN THIS SMASHING CONDITION. IT WILL BE A LONG TIME BEFORE THIS TURNS UP AGAIN WITH AGAIN MORE TAKERS THAN EVER BEFORE. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT INVESTMENT PIECE.

1st UK STEREO pressing of their psychedelic opus dates from this album's initial release in December 1967.
The disc bears 'deep-groove' green & silver Decca labels: TXS.103
Matrix numbers: ZAL-8126-T2-5K & ZAL-8127-T2-6K
Disc weight: 148g
Housed in an immaculate outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover with a 3-D front panel.
Complete with its original red & white 'smoke' design lined inner-sleeve.
Vinyl: VG++ to EX. Although a few light hairlines are visible, this is a fantastic sounding early heavy vinyl. I have played this through in its entirety and it sounded fantastic from beginning to end with nothing untoward. There are NO skips, clicks or jumps. There is barely any crackle at all. A smashing vinyl that has been looked after. Played on my Technics turntable with a Linn Sondek cartridge, Rotel amp and B&W speakers.
Gatefold Sleeve: EX. A beautiful Robert Stace gatefold sleeve with the pasted on 3D band picture which has just one tiny corner top right missing (see pic). The sleeve is in a well preserved condition without damage and only very minimal storage wear. There are no creases and the lamination is just splendid!!
The original inner red sleeve is still there. A artefact that is very often gone missing these days. It has a tiny tear to the top opening and a few creases. I will send the vinyl out in a separate white sleeve so the red inner will not get damaged in transit.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
