Description
This is for a rare 6 page A5 size (12 sided) Rolling Stones Decca LP promo booklet.
Booklet no: PL 505371. Date: 1971.
This is what I have found about it:
Contrary to belief, this was only available from over the counter when you bought the Stone age LP, it did not come with the Stone age LP, not many were printed either (a few hundred I believe), the print run of the booklet was done before the LP cover was printed and if you look at the 2nd photo you will see the booklet has Brian Jones name missing, when this was discovered his name was added to the LP cover, before the LP cover was printed.
The booklet is in excellent condition, does have a small hole to the front top right cover, a few light age spots to the rear and the staples have come away to the cover, still pretty clean with no real creasing.
Overall a decent example and not easy to find nowadays.
