THE ROLLING STONES Sticky Fingers Rolling Stones Records COC 59100 A-4 ROLLING STONES RECORDS COC 59100 B-3 ROLLING STONES RECORDS Zipper non-gatefold sleeve Picture insert
Vinyl: looks EX+, with just a few faint hairlines, and a noticeable scuff on track 4 side 1 - please read audio description below - generally a lovely looking copy
Sleeve: SUPERB! Outstanding copy! NO WEAR TO EDGES, Just some very small creases near the 'belt opening' and a slight area of dents/impressions to rear (presumably from the zipper) prevent me from calling this mint. Still has original price sticker in top right (£2.45!). Zipper works. Best one I've seen. Unbelievable condition overall.
Audio: most of this album plays outstandingly well, and it's so close to NEAR MINT but there are a few sections that need pointing out so it was easier to do a track-by-track analysis: 1. BROWN SUGAR - lovely quiet initial intro, whole song sounds superb and plays as NEAR MINT 2. SWAY - very quiet intro, plays superbly as NEAR MINT 3. WILD HORSES - lovely quiet intro , just the very faintest of background crackle (and I mean faint!) on quietest sections of verses and it was oh so nearly perfect but for a few very, very faint ticks midway through and then half a dozen or so slightly louder ones just before the last chorus. Still one of the best sounding playbacks I've heard, it's normally ruined by persistent crackle due to over play 4. CAN'T YOU HEAR ME KNOCKING - a few faint ticks during intro, couple of random pops here and there (still quite faint but audible), a few ticks after the first sax solo just as the guitar solo starts (from the aforementioned visible scuff) - rest is superb. 5. YOU GOTTA MOVE - lovely quiet intro, plays superbly as NEAR MINT.
1. BITCH - lovely quiet intro, a few ticks just before the first section of horns, rest plays as NEAR MINT 2. I GOT THE BLUES - some faint background crackle on initial intro, rest is superb, probably EX+ (occasional very faint background noise on quieter sections) 3. SISTER MORPHINE - superb quiet intro, very faintest of background noise on quietest sections, easily the best I've heard as it's normally ruined by intrusive background crackle, this is easily EX+ playback 4. DEAD FLOWERS - superb throughout and very nearly NEAR MINT throughout but for 3 faint ticks just near the end of the track 5. MOONLIGHT MILE - very slight crackle on initial intro and occasionally faintly audible on quietest sections, such as the end - plays as EX+
Labels: super clean and look barely played, slight red 'bleed' near spindle on side 1
Insert: MINT, best I've seen
