Visual Grade: Record - NM-/Excellent. Cover - VG+
Audio Grade: NM
Original 1971 first UK press of Sticky Fingers featuring the collectable/desirable large “PAN” zipper on Rolling Stones Records COC 59100. Record condition looks incredible; it looks practically brand new. It sounds like a new record (no record is 100% perfect but this is as good as it gets). And, most importantly it has NO zipper damage on Side Two at the beginning of Moonlight Mile like most other original zippered copies. This record is CLEAN. I think any record collector will be impressed. The center labels have no spindle marks but unfortunately exhibit some water damage. I’m guessing someone washed it on a record vacuum and some fluid got under the record clamp. But it’s purely cosmetic. The cover has moderate wear, is structurally sound, has NO seam splits, and has a small indentation on the back cover from the zipper of another copy. Includes original paper inner sleeve and band photo insert. Zipper is stiff but functional. Zipper will ship in the “down” position and will be placed over the center labels instead of the grooves.
