1967 DECCA TXL 103
I remember receiving this album in a record swap with a fellow college student probably sometime around 1970. This is why my name is not on the inside cover, but my friends. Can't remember what I gave in return....I was happy with the result. This album has the lenticular cover that was deemed too expensive for later production. This is the only album produced by the Stones, Loog Oldham had quit in disgust during the making of the album. So, you're getting a nearly 50 year old album, just as stereo was coming into its own. The condition is pretty good, the vinyl more than the cover, check it out for yourself. OK, here are the pertinent details:
- The cover has wear, corner creases and edge wear.
- The lenticular piece is fine, no problems or scratches.
- The back is clear, the spine has wear. I think the shiny laminate nature of the cover doesn't last as well as ordinary old card!
- The red smoke inner sleeve has corner creases and there is a long split down the side. There's a slight tear in the top.
- The vinyl is pretty good for 50. There is one long light scratch across side one, I don't think it will affect play, it's so light. Side two looks untouched.
- I can't give you a play by play, my turntable is out of commission, but I am confident that the vinyl will play beautifully.

For albums, I will mail in a white album mailing box, strengthened, bubble wrapped, album out of the covers and secure enough that it won't move.
