Description

WEST FIVE - CONGRATULATIONS (JAGGER / RICHARDS)   RARE EMIDISC 7' ONE SIDE ACETATE DATED 1965 March 5.

Originally, the band consisted of 4 elements (Don Regan, Colin Charles, Jerry Wood and Barry Summerfield) and was known as The 4. They released one single It's Alright/There's nothing like it (F11999) in October 64.

In 1965  they added one guitarist (Mike Liston), changed the name in West Five and the five-piece signed with HMV and debuted in early March with a cover of the Mick Jagger-Keith Richards song "Congratulations" issued as B-side of Time is on my side late September 64 in the US market.

The West Five disbanded in 1966.
