Description

ROLLING STONES - Out Of Our Heads LP (1965 Decca. Mono. LK 4733).

This is an original first pressing mono copy of this rare 12 track album in near mint condition with unboxed Decca labels.

The matrix codes in the run off grooves are :

Side 1 - ARL - 6973 - 8B.    Side 2 - ARL - 6974 - 12A

TRACKS: She said yeah / Mercy, Mercy / Hitch hike / That`s how strong my love is / Good times / Gotta get away / Talkin` `Bout you / Cry to me / Oh, Baby (we got a good thing going) / Heart of stone / The under assistant west coast promotion man / I`m free

The cover is laminated on the front with only a light creasing of the laminate evident on the left hand side of sleeve and a slight 1" length raising of the laminate towards the right side (evident in the attached photo). There are no scuffs or creases along the edges which remain totally intact and in their original shape. The rear side is unlaminated and is in absolutely fantastic condition for a 49yr old record with only the slightest signs of age discolouration.

The dark red and silver labels with the unboxed Decca labels are almost immaculate with only the very slightest spindle marks evident under a strong light. This shows how little this album has been played.

The vinyl itself has an unbelievable glossy, almost unplayed sheen to it and looks totally new and flawless in daylight. Under strong light there is the slightest of faint hairline marks. It is an original solid vinyl pressing that plays perfectly with a sharp, crisp sound to it.

The audio quality of this record is how The Stones were meant to be heard and can not be replicated by flimsy vinyl repressings or remastered CD productions.

Overall, I would describe the vinyl and label as in near MINT condition and the cover in EXCELLENT condition as per Record Collector descriptions.
