Description
This is the original UK LP by the ROLLING STONES, BETWEEN THE BUTTONS, 1967 MONO on the OPEN DECCA label LK 4852. Matrix numbers are, side 1:- XARL-7644-5A, side 2:- XARL-7645-4A, stamper codes are, side 1:- 1/BK, side 2:- 1/H, the LP comes complete with it's correct original 1967 DECCA inner sleeve.
This RARE original UK LP, BETWEEN THE BUTTONS, is in my opinion a VERY under-rated LP, and some consider it the weakest of their 60's LP's, The time of recording this LP, their was much fraxtion between the band members, Mick and Keith were barely talking and Brian's drug addiction and general apathy and strange behaviour was causing deep rifts between them. All this taken into consideration, they made a STUNNING PSYCH LP, and was very progessive for it's time, the LP is full of great tracks, and is a mystery why some people regard this as their weakest 60's LP, it's not by any stretch of the imagination!, it's STUNNING LP!.
The front only laminated, non-flipback cover is in VG+++ condition, lovely and clean , front and back, the laminated front maintains all it's original vibrant colour, while the back is lovely and clean, their is a 5mm rip on the front midway opening edge, and a 10mm rip midway opening edge, other than that their is no other rips or tears and no seam splits, the cover has no unwanted writing, the front has a little laminated creasing, a respectable cover considering it's age and big potential for major wear.
The vinyl is visually in VG+++ condition with some light marks to each side, which apart from ONLY one click inbeween one track on side 2 (not in actual play time), the vinyl plays a STUNNING MINT-!!!!!!!!, the quality of this original 1967 UK DECCA pressing is BREATAKING!!!!!!!!, the vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity a STUNNING MONO sound, considering that their are some quiet tracks on this LP, all tracks play close to MINT!, a TRUELY STUNNING LISTENING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!.
The label's are in EX- condition, lovely and clean, their is a persons name written on side one, this has been written in red, and is quite faint, and in no way distracts from the overall apperance of the label's, other than that their is no other unwanted writing, their are no scuffs, the spinal hole shows minimal wear, the label's maintain their original vibrant rich colour.
The vinyl is housed in it's correct oriignal 1967 DECCA inner sleeve and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, SUPERB condition.
Altogether a very respectable copy of the RARE original UK LP by the ROLLING STONES, BETWEEN THE BUTTON, VERY PROGRESSIBE FOR IT'S TIME, A GREAT PSYCH LP, the audio is SIMPLY STUNNING!.
