Description
THE ROLLING STONES No2 :- Original 1965 UK Decca LK 4661 Mono LP
Great Original A2 / A1 matrix album , with sleeve notes including the wording -
"..........If you don't have bread , see that blind man knock him on the head , steal his wallet and low and behold you have the loot , if you put in the boot , good , another one sold!"
There was considerable pressure put on Decca to reprint the sleeve at the time , to remove the 'offensive' wording...........most copies of this album show up with the later 'censored' sleeves with the shortened notes.
Here is a great original isue...................
The rear of the sleeve also has a 'Production Library' sticker attached - Great early copy ......

The disc has light use only ........ Mo 'marks' as such , just a couple of small , very faint traces evident beneath a light ......... light label spindle .... The disc plays through with outstanding sound quality : EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve has light wear ..... Bright and clean ...... a mild crease near bottom right hand corner ...... Nice clean rear rear panel ..... No edge wear , great spine : VERY GOOD / Near EXCELLENT condition.

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding
All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system
Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised
I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition
I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions
I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)
I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
