This copy has the Rare Transional back Cover change with the withdrawn 'See that Blindman knock him on the head steal his wallet... etc' text has a Pasteover sheet to cover the offending text although the original text still shows faintly through the cover sheet (only very few Transional covers were pressed like this before they were mass produced with the edited and removed Blindman text

 A Beautiful NEAR MINT Vinyl and Incredibly Rare to find in this Amazing and Unbelievable Preserved condition for 47 years of age!!! - Visually both the vinyl surfaces look virtually Untouched and Unplayed!!! - Also comes with the Cover Printed in England by 'MacNeill Press London'  Picture Sleeve Cover and the Original DECCA Company Poly-lined Thick Inner Sleeve that are both totally intact and excellent condition Just so scarce these days and near impossible to find a Copy of this Iconic Stones Album that hasn't been played to near Death & Destruction at wild Drunken parties in the early 60s And your probably thinking will I ever find that elusive copy where the Vinyl surfaces are still in a Respectable and Half Decent condition

(This Stones LP was also quiet Boring like the No1 LP and didn't go out to any Parties to get wrecked!!!)

Vinyl Condition: NM The Vinyl on both playing surfaces visually appear clear and UNMARKED with NO Evidence of any surface Scratches or other Markings that can be seen - Both sides are in Superb and Exceptional condition the vinyl is completely free from any obvious surface marks or wear which is quiet Remarkable and Unbelievable considering this vinyl LP is 47 years old! On even closer examination under a strong halogen bulb with the disc tilted at an angle you can only then detect and reveals nothing more than a few insignificant mild faint wispy inner sleeve removal line traces that Absolutely doesn’t affect the virtually Perfect Audio Playback The vinyl lays totally flat on a moving turntable - Still retains its original deep gloss black shiny sheen and lustre - It would be near Impossible these days to find a better vinyl copy of this Record that plays without any problems! - It’s a Fantastic Example!!!            

 Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of it's 47 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean  before play as to reduce further any light dust static crackle that is still present

AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT:  - SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as  NR.MINT - This vinyl visually looks like its only had minimal play over it's lifetime and very carefully and appears to have No marks or blemishes across the vinyl surfaces and shows NO heavy marks or scratches still looks a Stunning near Flawless example - There are No loud Clicks,pops,skips,jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying  audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all  you may get some very light static dust crackle for a second or two and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any consequence on this 47 year old Classic  that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album - Overall  its just a Fantastic listening Experience that comes from this near Perfect Dynamic Mono Audio performance that you would expect from a near perfect early 1st pressing!!! 

Labels Condition: Nr MINT  The Original Grooved Red Decca (unboxed) Labels in a Bold Vibrant red colour with pristine Silver written text looks virtually Unmarked and in a near perfect Preserved condition with NO written Ink markings showing or any other bad wear or blemishes - There is some evidence under bright light that shows light mild Spindle usage marks/spider trails around the spindle holes of the labels -  It's very evident that the LP when occasionally ever played during the early years it was done with great care

Cover Condition:   EX+  Original 1st issue 'Transional Pasteover Back Sheet' and  laminated with ‘Clarifoil’ front cover and ‘Transional Pasteover back sheet’ -  Printed in London by James Upton Ltd are Rare and were only used for minimal time and replaced with another standard cover) - The Glossy Laminate front on this well kept example still looks stunning being totally intact Flat and clean showing all its original bold vivid colours and is in amazing well preserved  condition showing fantastic unworn edges including both opening edges and good pointed corners with near perfect Laminate front that visually only shows a little laminate bubble lift along the  front by the spine edge(No colour has lifted) and a few small mild surface creases that are near invisible (not really that noticeable) This cover is in Exceptional and near perfect condition when you consider they are usually found to be covered with crinkled creases across the front laminate picture of the 'Stones' - The Black & White back of cover is also in immaculate overall condition with very few ageing blemishes - The only blemishes visually I can see is the usual but minimal yellow/brown ageing discolouration across the white back element of thin cover and one or two darker marks (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall superb condition of cover) This is a very respectable early 1st Press issue (transional) cover showing only the lightest minimal wear - NO tears,rips,splits,ink writting,stickers or any other bad  blemishes. 

Spine Condition: NM The thin pinched spine is totally intact and near perfect - With all written text still showing to be Bold clear legible and perfectly worded with just some light yellow tint due to the ageing process during storage  

Inner Sleeve: NM The original Decca Polyliner sleeve with Mauve 'Handling & Playing text' and 'Foreign patents pending' at the bottom of sleeve is in very clean unmarked intact and near perfect condition -  Apart from some usual minimal light yellow ageing tinges mainly around the edges of sleeve and light creaseing -  NO Tears,Ink Writting,Stickers or other Blemishes 

 The overall Brilliant Pristine condition of this Album is mainly due to the superb dry storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record over it's Lifetime!!!

Record Collector's Grading System:

MINT: The Record is in Brand New Condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The Cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in Perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be MINT.  

EXCELLENT: The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little Lessing in sound quality. The Cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or Creasing.

VERY GOOD: The Record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the Cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
