Description

This one is an exceptionally rare double live album by the Rolling Stones recorded in 1972 and 1973 and entitled ‘Nasty Songs’ (TAKRL 24909). My understanding is that this version was released in 1979.

Disc One is from Wembley Empire Pool, London, England on September 8th, 1973. Disc Two is from Madison Square Garden, New York, NY on July 26th, 1972.

The performances are exceptional featuring some amazing lead guitar from Mick Taylor and Keith Richard and the two set lists are inspiring. If you are a fan of early 70s Stones live recordings this is an absolute must.

The two vinyls have occasional low level ‘popping’ but overall sound and look really clean. I’ve relistened to all four sides and confirm them as a strong VG+. The cover has more wear, in particular around the edges and on the back where there’s the photo of Jagger. I would grade it as VG-.

These are fabulous recordings; absolutely don’t miss out!

These ones are from an August into September thinning out of my own personal collection. Over the next couple of months I’m going to be auctioning some 70 albums from the different genres that I’m interested in: jazz, blues, soul / funk, and late 60s early 70s rock. Please save me as a Seller, there are some fab albums. Because of the number of the albums I will be making a careful visual inspection and listening to the album while I list it but will not be listening to the entire album.

I clean all records that I auction with ‘Vinyl Clear ’ very carefully but they may benefit from a clean with a professional machine.

I use Record Collector gradings. Please ensure that you understand them before you bid.

I have long-standing very strong feedback so hopefully can be seen as a trustworthy seller. I pack carefully and dispatch the morning after the end of the auction.

I’m not seeking to make a killing on postage, so am happy to combine postage. I am happy to dispatch to Europe and Asia but would wish to use Recorded Delivery.
