Rare (in this condition) and very sought after UK mono pressing on the red Decca label with unboxed Decca logo and silver print. Housed in the correct front laminated Upton Printing Group sleeve.

Comes complete with the printed mono inner sleeve, poster and the sticker on the front of the sleeve. These seldom hit the market in anywhere near this condition. A genuine early press original with 2A/1A matrix and 1/1 mothers.

As you will have gathered by now, if you have your speakers switched on, we have recorded the entire album for you. We have nothing to hide here and want you to be really happy with your purchase should you win the auction.

This whole album was recorded on our most sensitive set up. A Nagaoka cartridge with a Nagaoka elliptical stylus. This is one unforgiving set up and any problems can be heard all too easily.

I listened through before recording and the playback is simply incredible. You really would be hard pushed to find a better quality audio experience. Lets not forget this is an Rolling Stones album from 1969, most copies are absolutely trashed, but not this one.

The playback is deep and punchy with superb clarity. There are no clicks, no sticks, no jumps and just  light crackle during the intro of You got the silver.

This album has been played but only carefully on the best of equipment. Absolutely no groovewear whatsoever. Just imagine what it sounds like on your deck, so much better than the soundfile.

Just incase you're worried that this is leading to a vg record with great sound, rest assured the visual grade is superb as well. A nice shiny record that has not been overplayed. Please read on for full details.

If you win one of these records rest assured that we do not use those flimsy record mailers. We pack with the record outside of the sleeve (inside a new plain inner sleeve), placed in a polythene sleeve and then inside a cruciform box with stiffeners. All packing materials are new. We want your item to reach you in the condition it leaves us.

Incredibly hard to find in anything approaching this wonderful condition. Nice early matrix markings. A stunning and trully excellent copy that would be a fabulous addition to anyones collection, especially considering the superb audio.

This is the rare first issue sleeve with the famous sticker advertising the free poster. An Upton Printing Group front laminated sleeve without flipbacks. Both front and back are in nice solid collectable condition. It only has light shelf/handling wear and a couple of small areas of discolouration on the rear.

The labels are the red unboxed Decca logo labels with silver print. The labels are in excellent condition. A very slight touch of spindle wear on side one only, with some spider marks around the spindle holes. A record that has been played, but obviously carefully on very good equipment and then stored away for years.

The inner sleeve is the original printed mono inner sleeve in vg++ condition. There are some bends at the edges, which is really the only wear.

The poster is unused, it has never been on a wall. Only when you look at the rear will you really notice a small series of light bends which has been done when the album has been put back into the sleeve:

This copy also has early matrix stampings and the earliest possible mothers.

The record surfaces still have their original full gloss sheen to them and look near mint in indirect daylight and when angled under two very bright 50 watt halogen bulbs they still look excellent. There is a half inch scuff on track one side two that cannot be felt, a couple more ultra light scuffs that can be seen in inderict daylight, otherwise just the odd wispy line and ultra light paper scuffs only seen under a very bright light.

The playback is superb. There is only the very slightest of very occasional light crackle apart from the introduction to "You got the silver" which has some light crackle. Otherwise a pretty much perfect play with even the spaces between tracks playing really quietly. We have not used any noise reduction on the soundfile, no other software, just recorded directly into the computer with our most sensitive set up. The sound through our system is just incredible, crisp, clear and strong with no sign of groovewear.
