The ROLLING STONES - LET IT BLEED

A nice condition copy of this Rolling Stones 1969 UK 1st press MONO rarity 

Year/Label : 1969 UK DECCA Label number : LK 5025 Matrix numbers : XARL-9363.P-2A, XARL-9364.P-1A Stampers :  1 C  /  1 UM 
Very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - completely flat and retaining a lovely jet black lacquered sheen, coming across as barely marked in normal daylight and it is only with closer scrutiny under a bright light that a number of fine wispy hairlines and equally faint paper scuff lines come into view on each side. There is also a 2cm slightly more prominent (but still non feelable and purely superficial) scuff mark on side 1, and on side 2 a 2.5cm scuff mark straddling tracks B1 and B2 which though not feelable does nonetheless result in some light clicking towards the end of B1 and the beginning of B2.  The labels are in excellent (EX) condition with just a few very faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label.  A very good plus (VG+) condition front-side laminated outer sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, nicely defined right angle corners with barely any rubbing, and a firm spine with all spine text nicely intact though there is some mild spine buckling with mild age discolouration both on the spine and immediately adjacent to the spine on both sides. There are also x5 1cm laminate crinkles adjacent and perpendicular to the spine, a thin vertical strip of laminate lifting next to the spine on the front side, and the occasional light storage/handling/age related mark on each side of the cover. Do take a close look at my photos where I have attempted to give an accurate appraisal of the condition of this outer sleeve. The original and all important "FULL COLOUR ROLLING STONES POSTER IS INCLUDED" sticker remains in it's original position and is in great shape, and there is an original price sticker ("37/6" - that's thirty-seven shillings and sixpence in old UK currency which equates to £1.75 in current currency!!) which is easily removeable but I have obviously left as is (why would anybody ever want to remove it?!).  The poster itself (original, not a later reproduction) remains in excellent condition with no tears or marks and just a 9cm diagonal mild fold crease at each of the top two corners. Overall very good plus (VG+) mono sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats or distortion, and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum. There is the occasional light click and as already mentioned there is some light rotational clicking for about a minute in total towards the end of B1(Midnight Rambler) and again for about 30 seconds towards the beginning of B2 (You Got The Silver), some being mild clicks and many being either light or very light - certainly nothing nasty and no skipping or sticking. Despite this blemish the record does still play very well and it's no exaggeration to say that each track remains a great listen. Comes with poly-lined DECCA mono inner sleeve - excellent (EX) condition with no splits, no edge fraying, no unwanted writing, barely any age discolouration, and just siome mild creasing in one corner. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.    A nice copy of this 1969 UK 1st press Rolling Stones classic - increasingly difficult to get hold of, especially the much rarer mono copy.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
