This item is a beautiful Japanese import vinyl LP from the Rolling Stones. It is the mono re-issue pressing of Got Live If You Want It. It was released on London Records in 1982. This album was the Stones’ first live recording, and was originally released on London Records in 1966. This album features twelve tracks reputedly recorded at the Royal Albert Hall. Actually, they were recorded at two shows in the UK in October, 1966, and actually has two studio recordings with crowd noise over-dubbed to give the impression of live recording. In any event, this is an important part of the Stones discography, and an essential part of any Stones collection. This particular pressing is notorious because -- if you look carefully at the OBI at the top -- you will see that there is something unusual there: it is a teeny, tiny condom. The record labels on these issues had a muscled guy on the labels, with the spindle hole where the naughty bits would otherwise be. So here’s the deal – you put the record on the spindle, and you put the little tiny condom on the spindle. Get it? This is a pretty cool Stones collectible, available in this form ONLY in this Japanese pressing.
This record is in new, still-sealed and mint condition, as shown in the photo.
NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US: Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL. If you do not fully understand and agree, PLEASE DO NOT BID. The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial. In addition, the USPS just increased their rates. To Canada, the cost for 1 single LP is $22.75USD. To Europe, the cost for 1 single LP is $30.75USD. Other countries will be about the same as to Europe. Combining multiple albums saves money, and I can send you the shipping costs upon request BEFORE YOU BID. I recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage. If you think this policy is unfair, contact Paypal -- I'm only following their rules. If you have any questions about my shipping policy or costs, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.
I do not use stock photos. The photo shows the actual item up for auction.
I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years. I am selling my collection little by little to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time.
NOTE: Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed. Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer. Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value.
NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking. The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking. If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation, ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.
International Buyers – Please Note:
· Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
· Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
· These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
· We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
I will always combine items, so that shipping costs will be more manageable. Payment may be made by paypal. If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction and I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.
Should you have any questions at all about postage, the payment method or for details about any item in particular, please do not hesitate to contact me.
