Rolling Stones – Exile On Main St (1972)
Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest rock and roll album of all time. The definitive UK first pressing of this legend, in EXCELLENT+ condition, plays great, sounds as fresh as the day it was released. Killer copy of a killer album.
All records are graded by being played on a Thorens turntable with Denon DL-110 cartridge unless stated otherwise.
Condition: DISCS: SIDE A: EXCELLENT+ there's a visible hairline across the vinyl, it doesn't affect playback though, cosmetic only. SIDE B: EXCELLENT little bit of crackle during track 1 SIDE C: EXCELLENT+ SIDE D: EXCELLENT+
All discs have clean and glossy vinyl with just the odd wispy hairline under strong light. They all play through perfectly without any skips, jumps or scratches. There’s a little very faint surface noise here and there as may be expected for a 52-year old vintage vinyl album. The records have been very well looked after and stored in smooth poly-lined sleeves, not the original card inners. Both sets included.
The analogue audio is just fantastic, strong and clear with the glorious and unmistakeable Stones sound.
OUTER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT Sleeve is outstanding, nice and boxy with strong spine, crisp edges, clean surfaces. Very rare to find this sleeve in this kind of condition because of the foldout flap.
INNER SLEEVES: Both original card inners are NEAR MINT.
