Description

A SUPER MONO PRESS COPY OF THE ROLLING STONES DECEMBER'S CHILDREN (AND EVERYBODY'S) LONDON LL3451 MAROON LABEL WITH SILVER PRINT AND "BOXED" LONDON LABEL
MAROON LONDON LABEL - IS NOW NOTED AS THE ORIGINAL MONO RELEASE AND A TRUE FIRST COPY
The blistering cover of Larry Williams' "She Said Yeah" that opens this 1965 release is one of the Stones' most outta hand moments ever. The only thing hotter is the live "Route 66" that comes five cuts later. The rest of the time, the band proves they're the downright meanest of Britain's rhythm- and blues-obsessed rock 'n' rollers. This one's got Brian Jones!

THE VINYL IS VG++ TO EXCELLENT MINUS - SHOWS UNDER LIGHTS SOME THIN RUBBING/HAIR LINES ON SHINY US DEEP GROOVE PRESS VINYL

NO FELT SCRATCHES! SUPER SHEEN ON HEAVY DEEP GROOVE ORIGINAL PRESSING

ON PLAYING, THE SOUND IS SUPERB! IT IS HARD TO SPOT SURFACE NOISE - VERY MINIMAL BETWEEN TRACKS EVEN AT NEEDLE DROP! OVER THE ENTIRE ALBUM, THERE ARE POSSIBLY ONE OR TWO HEARABLE CLICKS OR POPS, AMAZING SOUND - FORGET ALL THE RE-MASTERED VERSIONS! THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A CLEAN ORIGINAL!

THE LABELS ARE EXCELLENT, BRIGHT WITH NO WRITING NO NAMES AND VERY LIGHT WEAR TO SPINDLE!!!

THE  SLEEVE IS EXCELLENT MINUS , SHOWS NO SPLITS  NO WRITING  SHOWS LIGHT RING WEAR

SHOWS A LABEL REMNANT BY ORIGINAL OWNER (CAN BE REMOVED)  UPPER LEFT BY SPINE (SEE PHOTO)

HAS TINY BUMPING TO EDGES AND CORNERS - SPINE IS EXCELLENT - READABLE WITH SMALL EDGE BUMPING

COMES WITH ORIGINAL LONDON INNER SLEEVE

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF A CLEAN LONDON PRESSING! - NOT TO BE MISSED, THIS LP SOUNDS SPECTACULAR

PLEASE SEE PHOTOS

FINALLY ONE LAST WORD RE HAIRLINES, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANY NON SEALED RECORD WITHOUT THEM, MANY HAD THEM FROM NEW. MOSTLY THEY ARE A RESULT OF STORAGE AND USE AND USUALLY HAVE LITTLE IMPACT ON THE SOUND QUALITY. THE SAME GOES FOR BACKGROUND NOISE, UNFORTUNATELY ALL RECORDS WILL HAVE SOME AND THIS VARIES AND REFLECTS THE PRESSING QUALITY.

Most records have production marks where someone touched or moved the vinyl while it was still semi-soft.  These marks look like smudges, but are not scratches or "paper scuffs" and do not usually sound.  Untouched vinyl from newly-opened records have these marks.

 RECOMMENDED!

FULLY GUARANTEED!

IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded.

Records are graded under bright lights or discrete sunlight - In the case of visibly possible harmful scratches, the record will be tested and sound quality noted. Many vintage (1955-70) records will play fine with visible damage due to superior vinyl and better pressings.

How I Grade Condition Of Discs

Mint

This means I have owned it from new or purchased from a distributors warehouse, basically it means absolutely new shape, never been played or out of its dust cover. In the case of LP's, a North American album will have to be factory sealed (anyone can reseal an album!) Take Note: European and Japaneses albums were never shrink wrapped!

Note: Being mint does not guarantee it's free of pops and clicks, many pressings especially from the US were made with very poor vinyl and in a hurry which means often there are imperfections in the pressing. As a former importer, we were often given back brand new albums due to clicks heard in the playback.

Mint Minus - No such thing, it's either mint or not.

Excellent - A disc is super clean, with no visible marks

Excellent Plus, means it's probably mint but can't be proven by me.

Excellent minus, is a disc that is excellent except it may have some markings that do not show up in the playing

VG - A disc that is STILL in good shape, WILL have some scuffs or scratches, not in excellent shape but well worth owning. VG + and ++,a disc that is that much better than VG.

VG minus, just a smidgen below VG
