Description

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A LP BY THE ROLLING STONES CALLED "DECEMBERS CHILDREN". IT WAS RELEASED ON THE LONDON LABEL (PS 451) OUT OF THE U.S. IN 1967. THE COVER IS NEAR MINT-  & THE LP IS VERY GOOD++ WITH LIGHT SURFACE MARKS BUT PLAYS PERFECTLY


Notes:

Album "December's Children", released: 4 December 1965.
At that time, the song "Get Off of My Cloud" was already in the charts, it was already a hit (the single was released on September 25, 1965), so when the album was released for the first time, some copies (not sure if all) had on front cover the sticker "Including THE ROLLING STONES' smash hit GET OFF OF MY CLOUD ", in red text (see pic), which advertised the presence of this famous song between the songs of the LP.

After this album was released, another album's song became famous by climbing the charts, "As Tears Go By", which was released as single on December 18, 1965.

So, on some subsequent re-releases of this album was applied another sticker, "Including THE ROLLING STONES 'smash hits GET OFF OF MY CLOUD and AS TEARS GO BY," in black text (see pic), which advertised both the songs that were in the charts.

For the above reason, the first pressing of the cover are surely the ones with the first sticker, that says "Including THE ROLLING STONES' smash hit GET OFF OF MY CLOUD" in red text.
