THE ROLLING STONES ''THE ROLLING STONES'' (DEBUT) ALBUM'' CAT NO. LK 4605 ORIGINAL (MONO) BOXED DECCA LABELS THE RARE AND VERY EARLY BOXED DECCA PRESSING EVER!!! LOOK! BARELY PLAYED VINYL  ''1'' ''CH'' AND ''1'' ''CH'' STAMPERS! MEGA EARLY OFF THE PRESS!! PERFECT AUDIO ON MY SYSTEM THROUGHOUT!

Here is another from my personal collection. This is the 2nd issue, an early 70s pressing!, rarely seen in Mono and especially in this barely played condition! The audio is near perfect on my systems throughout! Featureing the earlu Laminated MacNeil press cover also in superbe condition! These are becoming very highly sought after and very collectable! It is so hard to find this debut album on vinyl with near perfect Mono audio , so here it is!!

The Rolling Stones are an English band whose blues, rhythm and blues and rock and roll-infused music became popular during the "British Invasion" in the early 1960s.  The band was formed in London in 1962 by Brian Jones, and eventually was led by the songwriting partnership of singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. During their 1969 American tour, the Stones were introduced and have often been referred to subsequently as "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World", and their early image of unkempt and surly youth is one that many musicians still emulate. The band have released 55 albums of original work[ and compilations, and have had 37 top-10 singles They have sold over 200 million albums worldwide!!!!

On 12 July 1962 the group played its first gig at the Marquee club in London, billed as "The Rollin' Stones". The line-up was Jagger, Richards, Brian Jones, Ian Stewart on piano, Taylor on bass and Mick Avoryon drums. Jones intended for the band to play primarily Chicago blues, but Jagger and Richards brought the rock 'n roll of Chuck BerrY and Bo Diddley to the band After shifting formations, bassist Bill Wyman would join later that December and drummer Charlie Watts the following January and would became the Stones' long standing rhythm section In June 1963 the band released their first UK single, a cover of Berry's "Come On"!!.

The Beatles recommended the Stones to future manager Andrew Loog Oldham, and George Harrison who encouraged Decca Records to sign the band.. Their first EP, The Rolling Stones and album (also titled The Rolling Stones, except in the US where it was titled England's Newest Hit Makers), were comprised primarily of covers drawn from the band's live repertoire. After signing with Decca, the Stones began touring the U.K. and Europe. On their first tour of England, the Stones were packaged with American stars including Ike and Tina Turner, Bo Diddley, The Ronettes, The Everly Brothers and Little Richard!!.

The vinyl.

On initial inspection I an barely see a blemish! Please note! This is the early heavy and thicker type of vinyl with deeper grooves! Later press are much more flimsier and less robust. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable! Only in strong light could possibly any light whyspy sleeve removal marks be seen,these would be (none) audio sounding at all!!

The Audio

This vinyl was played track for track at very loud volume prior to listing on a top system! The audio is awesome throughout! Absolutely perfect in my personal opinion! (no) clicks or pops and (no) signs of any grooveware or that this has been overplayed! Stunning mono audio throughout!! This audio will be very hard to surpass!!! Top! Top! audio on all frequencies!!!! 

The labels

Are superbe! The original Boxed Decca labels bare just very very minimal spidering that indicates that this has barely ever been played!! 

The Record Sleeve

This original poly lined Decca sleeve has (no) splits or tares or creases as new!

The Cover

This is the original super glossy laminated  cover Printed by MacNeil press! This is in absolutely superbe condition! Very light storageware in the form of very minimal creases to tthe laminate indeed. Unbelievable to see (no) scuffing on this cover. Please note! there is no fading nor staining any one who knows these covers or has one would know how rare it is to find one like this!!!!!! Any creases in the laminate are minimal to mention! very (very) light ringware can only be seen angled in light,  The rear is exceptionally clean for 35 years old!!! A trully superbe and awesome cover!!!!Must be at least Excellent to Excellent plus!!!
