ROLLING STONES BIG HITS HIGH TIDE & GREEN GRASS Decca 66 Blue Label Mono 1st pr LP
TXL101 -1A-3A Matrix. Not a fantastic copy.
Laminated SLEEVE does have Mono on the spine unlike later copies & has a slightly shiny laminate & generally VG condition with some laminate lift nr spine, slight rubbing to top left hand corner, corner crease front & back. LABELS have quite a few spindle marks to be honest but no writing & at 1st glance VG+ to nr EX condition.
VINYL has some scratches, mainly light polishing hairlines noticeable under a lamp but there is 1 slightly nastier 1, which is slightly feelable, does click but played all the way through without a jump. Item is priced accordingly & in good condition visually.
BOOKLET is intact.
Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve. Item 859
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.
With a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L?art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l?art du son mix seems to smooth out any
brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
