'BETWEEN THE BUTTONS' LP
UK Decca Label Mono Cat No LK4852
The Run-Out Groove (Dead Wax) on Side 1 bears the Matrix No XARL 7644-4A plus '1' 'N7' and 'UK'. On Side 2 the Matrix No. is XARL 7645-4A plus '1', and 'D' .
The Vinyl is spotlessly clean and shiny with only the smallest of lines in the playing surface on Side 2 Track 2. This is the only blemish I can see and even this is hard to detect without a microscope. It plays perfectly on a good-quality deck with an arm tracking at 1 gram. This piece of vinyl is truly in tiptop condition and I would rate it as EX/EX+.
The label is Decca Red and is free of stickers or writing. There is hardly any evidence of spindleware.
It comes in a standard Decca innersleeve with Polyliner. This is in Excellent condition with no tears or splits and only the smallest of creases and aging 'discolour' around the edges.
The outer sleeve is clean, free of any tears or splits, major blemishes or fraying. On the back, there is light writing to the top where a figure '67' has been written and also a name 'Quinn'. Both of these are in light blue biro. Apart from this, the outer is sleeve has only the usual evidence of aging and handling discolouration on the back.
I would rate the condition of the Sleeve as EX- using the Record Collector Guide to Condition Rating.
