Hello People!!...
what we have here is a Mono 1st press red unboxed LK 4955 1968 copy of "Beggars Banquet" in overall superb condition...
"Garrod & Lofthouse international limited" sleeve is square & tight, spine fully legible...laminate is free of any creases, no loss of laminate...
shows only minimal signs of its 44 year heritage...small "harlequin" record shop sticker on back, bottom sleeve...marvelous!!.
Vinyl....matrixs` are...side 1..XARL-8476-4A......Side 2...XARL 8477-2A...
Vinyl....Side 1 shows no hairlines...looks lovely...a few spindle marks but been played very carefully....Side 2,,,,just one very light inch & half hairline...which does not......repeat....NOT !!..... affect sound in any way...
Labels... are the 2nd version with the J/T tax code above catalogue number & "Side 2" on the right side...the labels are lovely bright & clear....
Sound.....wonderful full Mono sound....the only way to hear this lp....real resonant bass...a superb example...with no crackle, clicks pops etc at intros or between tracks or during playback....that's a bold statement but I've just listened to it....& I cannot hear any issues whatsoever....a very nice item indeed ...
This Stones albums sold very well...as the critics hailed it a return to their bluesy roots, however to get one that plays this well....is another story all together, & good luck to you finding another that plays this well.........Please view pictures...
