Description
HERE is a brilliant first pressing of Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones on UK Decca vinyl from 1968 - a highly desirable unboxed mono copy. The first press vinyl with 1/1 mother stampers is lovely. Both red unboxed Decca mono labels are practically perfect with nothing untoward to report, and only the very lightest traces of spindle marks are visible when examining the disc under bright halogen light. There is no spindle wear whatsoever - so often you see these early red mono labels marred by unsightly wear around the spindle hole. Both sides of this barely played vinyl are in strong EX condition - when examining the vinyl under halogen light I could only see only the very lightest scuff/surface/sleeve withdrawal marks and certainly no deep or feelable scratches of any kind. The front laminated gatefold sleeve is in EX- condition with no unwanted writing, rips or tears and just light creasing from handling here and there. Good luck if you are bidding - and don't forget to check out my other items. I carefully package my records and post tracked to ensure they reach you as they leave me, with the disc removed from the sleeve and custom inner.
