ROLLING STONES - AFTERMATH
An overall nice condition copy of this Stones classic with minor blemishes - a very good listen still
Year/Label : UK DECCA 1966
Label number : LK 4786 MONO
Matrix numbers : XARL-7209-1B / XARL -7210-5A with the "KT" tax code stamped on each side
Stampers : 1 11U / 3B 11A
Glossy, solid very good (VG) condition vinyl with some hairlines and light scuff marks on each side, and x3 small and light (but just feelable) scratches resulting in some clicking (further details below). Original very good (VG) condition front laminated Robert Stace sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, some light age discolouration and handling storage marks on the reverse (see photos), and some occasional very minor surface laminate creasing and lifting next to the edges. Very nice, clean condition UK early press deep groove and unboxed labels with just a few spindle trails on each. Overall solid very good (VG) MONO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats or sticking and just some occasional and very light background crackle. There are x3 small and very light (but just feelable) scratches resulting in x8 clicks on A4/A5, x24 light clicks on B3, x19 clicks on B5 and x7 clicks right at the very end of side 2. You might also come across the additional odd single light click. Certainly blemishes but nothing sufficiently intrusive to prevent a very good and and enjoyable listen. Comes with original "Made In England" poly-lined inner sleeve with no splits but some creasing in the corners.
A nice condition, highly presentable, eminently playable (with minor blemishes) and very early UK MONO pressing of this Stones classic.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
