This Auction is for an original vinyl LP from 1964
THE ROLLING STONES
1st Album
Tracks are Side 1. Route 66, I Just Want To Make Love To You, Honest I Do, I Need You Baby, Now I've Got A Witness, Little By Little.
Side 2. I'm A King Bee, Carol, Tell Me, Can I Get A Witness, You Can Make It If You Try, Walking The Dog.
DECCA LK.4605 Original Recording 1964. Made in England.
This is a 2nd pressing with Matrix Numbers XARL-6271-1A & 6272-3A.
The vinyl is in very good condition on each side of the disc. There are a few burnish type rubs visible on each side, but they aren't scratches and don't affect the sound or the performance of play in any way. There's no stops, glitches or sticks and no excessive noise. Both sides of the record play fabulous and sound great.
The early Red & Silver Decca labels on each side are completely clean and undamaged. There is evidence of play around each side of the spindle hole, but there's no great signs of wear or erosion to the spindle hole.
The front laminated sleeve is in good ++ condition. There's no rips or tears, but it does have a couple of areas of laminate lift along the bottom edge. It still displays nicely and is the rare non-flipback with the narrow joining edge folded over at the spine. The non-laminated rear side is very nice with just a few handling marks at each edge and a couple of initials and numbers written towards the top left hand corner.
The spine is undamaged and all the printing shows clearly.
Comes with the original plastic lined die-cut inner sleeve which is in very good condition as well.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
