Description
This is the original UK LP by The ROLLING STONES, THROUGH THE PAST DARKLY (Big Hits Vol.2), 1969, 1st Press on the blue and sliver Un-Boxed DECCA label SKL 5019. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XZAL-9067P-1W, SIDE 2:- XZAL-9068P-2W. Stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 1 / UM, SIDE 2:- 1/UA. The LP comes complete with it's original 1969 1st issue octagonal gatefold cover and inner sleeve.
The original 1969 UK 1st issue Garod and Lofthouse laminated Decca octagonal gatefold cover is in EX+++/ Near MINT condition, beautifully clean inside and out, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colour, their are no seam splits, no unwanted writing, the spine is broad and perfectly readable, showing little or no wear. This really is in STUNNING condition, crisp and clean.
The vinyl is in a STUNNING EX+++/Near MINT condition!!!!, absolutely ASTONISHING condition!. I have played both sides (very carefully) and the both sides play with super crisp clear clarity, the quality of this RARE original 1969 UK Stereo Pressing is OUSTANDING, the stereo playing with super warmth and depth and punch!
The blue and silver unboxed Decca label's are in Near MINT condition!!, beautifully clean and crisp, maintaining all their original bright vibrant colour, the centre spindle hole shows no wear, amazing label's!
The vinyl is housed in its original 1969 UK 1st issue blue and white Stereo octagonal inner sleeve and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colour. Their are no seam splits, no unwanted wanted writing.
Altogether a SUPERB copy of this now hard to find LP, most covers are very grubby, ripped and torn the vinyl scractched and played many times, not this lovely copy, STUNNING!
