Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare stereo 1st pressing of the Rolling Stones 1968 Decca LP 'Through the Past Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2).
This album came out in 1969, just when Decca were about to undergo a label change. The old style Decca logo was replaced with a smaller, boxed logo. These boxed logo copies are easy to spot, but the original 1969 1st press unboxed presses are much more difficult to find!
Hard to find and pretty collectible!
Comes with it's original hexagonal sleeve and custom stereo inner sleeve!

The Cover : EX

The original hexagonal cover is looking really nicely! The front cover is nice and clean with just a little rubbing on the laminate. Top and bottom seams are holding tightly with no splits or wear. The spine has not torn but does have wear (which you usually see on these really fragile sleeves). Back cover, like the front, is lovely and clean with just a little rubbing on the laminate. Inside gatefold is really, really clean with no writing, stains or anything. Very, very nice cover!!
Inner Sleeve: EX

The original custom stereo inner sleeve is included. There's just a little creasing but, overall, is looking very nice with no stains, splits or tears or anything. Very nice!
Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG+
.
The playing surface has a really nice shine to it. There's a fair amount of light scuffing here and there but nothing at all serious. Nice disc! These usually turn up pretty trashed.
Labels : EX+

The labels are looking really nice with bright, silver print. There's just a little, light, faint spindlewear and hardly any wear around the centrehole. Nice labels!!
