None of the vintage vinyl records are what I would call truly perfect with absolute no occasional soft background static/ticks. But vinyl sounds warm, deep, analog-rich and as good as the producer and band intended. All the listed records come from my own decades-old, archived vinyl collection.

ROLF & JOACHIM KÜHN– Transfiguration, orig. 1st. German Press. 1967, stereo heavy, thick LP, SABA SB 15118 Records, thick full laminated cover. Rare.
The SABA label (SABA = Schwarzwälder-Apparate-Bau-Anstalt) was founded in 1958 by Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer. In 1968 the label was renamed in MPS (MPS = Musik Produktion Schwarzwald) Records. The releases were distributed from middle 1971 onwards by BASF, and from 1974 onwards by Metronome Musik GmbH. The hallmarks of SABA, MPS and BASF releases were the high quality of the recordings.
VINYL Grade: VG. Die LP wurde oft abgespielt und hat viele sichtbare haarfeine Kratzer auf beiden Seiten sowie 2-3 kleine, dünne Nadelkratzer. Das Vinyl hat auch zwei leichte Abschürfungen an den ersten 3 Einlaufrillen auf Seite 2. Die nächsten 2 Einlaufrillen sind in Ordnung. Das High-End Audio-Test zeigte eine hohe, sehr dynamische Klangqualität, jedoch mit Knistern und Ticks, hauptsächlich hörbar zw. den Tracks und in den leiseren Passagen, aber nicht lauter als die Musik. Die lauteren Passagen spielen fast ohne Hintergrundgeräusche. Das dicke voll laminierte COVER hat Gebrauchsspuren (Ring Wear - Spuren der Aufbewahrung, Knicke, Ecken leicht angestoßen, leichte Flecken auf der Innenseite) (siehe bitte die Fotos).
