ROGER AND WENDY : Love Rog & Wen LP (Horny [USA] 71-RW-1) 1972.
Record is VG+ with light superficial marks only. It looks pretty clean overall, but it plays a little noisier than it looks, with light noise audible throughout most of the quiet parts, and clicks now and then, but nothing too bad -- no skips or sticks, no loud pops. It's a rather lousy pressing and the music is pretty quiet overall, so we suspect that even very clean copies are going to sound a little noisy. Cover (plain black with "Love Rog & Wen" hand written on front) is VG+ with a 5" split at the edge of the top seam and light ring-wear
Original copy (not the recent reissue) of the rare debut by hippie folk duo Roger and Wendy, who later recorded as Bermuda Triangle (on Winter Solstice). These were apparently just sent out to family and friends and never offered for sale. According to some sources, there were only 50 made -- Considering the number that have been on the market it seems unlikely that the pressing was actually that small, but it is nonetheless rare.
