Description
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters released his third studio (solo) album in 1992. That LP celebrated its THIRTIETH anniversary last year! Waters did an amazing job with the songs, and it features special guests such as Jeff Beck, Toto's Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro, Randy Jackson, Don Henley, Rita Coolidge, and many more. There's even Michael Kamen conducting and arranging!
In 2015, Waters released a vinyl picture version of that early 90s progressive rock classic. It's actually TWO picture discs, and it's the wild and trippy eyeball artwork on a couple of sides! In a clear PVC gatefold jacket, and strip inserts with song titles and credits, as that's not on the vinyl itself. Clear jacket has a split, a couple of inches long, on one side. (This happens a lot, and is usually due to shipping.) Other than that, jacket looking really, really good. A fantastic Roger Waters collectible, bought new, and never played!
But of course I'm not done! So you don't have to play your vinyl picture discs, (but you can...today's pic discs sound great!), I'll add the SACD version of 'Amused to Death'! Also released in 2015, this version is the very cool hardbound book with a hybrid SACD. Which means that you can hear the remastered stereo version on ALL players, but you'll need a SACD player to access the advanced resolution, multi-channel surround mix (by James Guthrie). A universal player that plays SACD and DVD-A will work, as well. (Some older model PlayStations play SACD, but the newer ones do not.)
The SACD is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! Case (book) looks fantastic and new, and everything inside will be in MINT condition! Picture discs were not factory sealed, but I never play specialty vinyl, so they're in near perfect condition. A sweet Roger Waters double shot of great sounding, and awesome looking collectibles! The perfect gift idea for that Roger Waters or Pink Floyd fan in your life. Or grab these goodies for yourself, because treating or rewarding yours truly is always a good thing!
