ROCKIN AT THE 2 I’s
10” LP
I’ve been collecting Rock n’Roll LPs since 1958 and now it’s time to pass on some of these great sounds.
Named as the birthplace of British rock n’roll, the 2 I’s coffee bar in Old Compton Street was the place many pop stars were discovered between 1956-1962…… In fact, the two Wee Willie Harris tracks were actually recorded in 1957!
The record and sleeve are not in the best condition – the LP is scuffed and the music cuts through OK with crackles. The sleeve has been taped and all in one piece.
