Description

1996 Chrysalis Records Award

This large Award was issued by Chrysalis Records to celebrate having 4 UK hit singles during the summer of 1996.  It includes Robbie Williams debut single, Belinda Carlisle, Pato Banton & the Fun Lovin Criminals, and was presented to a handful of people in the music industry.

The award is in a large gold metal frame measuring 25x16 inches (64x40cms) and is in good condition.  There are a few scratches on the plexiglass, but these aren’t that noticeable once it’s hanging on the wall.  The plaque mounted on the award reads:

Presented to

JANE CULPIN

to thank you for all your help,

From the new team at Chrysalis,

September 1996

This award was produced by Century Displays, the official BPI (British Phonographic Industry) award manufacturer.  These awards were only presented within the music industry, and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.

A very cool & rare piece of 90s pop memorabilia.

Please see my other items for more rare awards from the music industry including BPI & RIAA Awards.
