Rob Zombie cranked up the band White Zombie in 1985. He recorded and toured with them until his departure in 1998, after the band broke up. Rob has also found time to direct several feature films along the way, released seven solo albums, and has toured extensively! Rob has been one busy little zombie...
In 2016, one of the Rob Zombie solo albums came out, and officially titled 'The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser'. (Never thought I'd use the words satanic and orgy in the same sentence, but yet, here we are...) That controversial title contains maybe Rob's most controversial hit single (to date). A song titled "Well, Everybody's F***king in a U.F.O.", and it's insane! There's even an (uncensored) video for this track, inspired by Primus, no doubt.
That same year (2016), Rob and Record Store Day released a special REVERSE GROOVE 10" RECORD of the U.F.O. song! Reverse groove vinyl just means that instead of dropping your needle in the normal way, at the beginning of the record, you drop the needle at the end. I'm serious! If you try to play this the normal way, you could damage your turntable's stylus, or the record. Or both! Just put it on your turntable like a standard record, drop the needle at the END of the last song, and watch it play, 'in reverse'!
And the best part? This sick puppy is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! Brand new, and factory sealed. How cool is that? I used paper blocks to cover the naughty parts, as the cover is pretty obscene. All artwork by Rob Zombie, as usual. But rest assured, NOTHING will be censored when you get this! I'll also add a bonus!
Rob Zombie's last studio album is called 'The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy', and it was released in 2021. The vinyl record came out in many different color schemes, and each one is hella cool! This particular edition is the CD long-box variant, which includes a sticker sheet! Limited to 2500 copies. This long-box is the way CDs used to come. So that you could flip through them, like records. (In the early days of CDs, in the 80s.) At some point, manufacturers started to notice the waste (and fans were pointing that out, too). So the long-box left for good, and it became just the jewel cases. But Retro Rob brought it back as a very cool souvenir from a time long ago!
So you'll get the awesome U.F.O. song, on a reverse groove vinyl 10" record, and still sealed. AND you get the long-box full length CD for the latest album ('Electric Warlock...), with the sticker sheet (see last pic, which is a stock photo, to see stickers), and also still sealed. Rob Zombie, John 5, Piggy D., and Ginger Fish never sounded so good! (Maybe because both items are produced by Zeuss!)
