OK - BACK TO LPs OF VARIOUS STYLES FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced 1970s ERA DEL-FI RECORDS MONO REISSUE LP titled 'Rirchie Valens Live At Pacoima Jr, High' from California rock-n-roll legend Ritchie Valens, whose life was tragically cut short in the February 1959 plane crash which also took the lives of Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper. It is Del-Fi Records catalog number DFLP 1214, black and white Del-Fi labels with a picture of Ritchie Valens, unknown country of manufacture.
The extra added attraction with this item is the fact that it originally resided in the personal record collection of 1970s honky-tonk country star Gary Stewart, who lived in Fort Pierce, Florida, one town north of my home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. I recently purchased this item and some of Gary's other records from the close friend and member of Gary Stewart's band who inherited Gary's vinyl record collection. Gary Stewart has personally signed this item near the lower left corner of the the back cover as shown in the accompanying image.
Side One is a low fidelity recording of Ritchie Valens performing live at Pacoima Junior High School, Side Two is made up of various demos.
