Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 16 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Dutch beat, Dutch Psych and Dutch progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer,?a very rare 1st Holland STEREO pressing of Rita Reys - Congratulations in Jazz on Philips, cat no. 840 358 PY.
The record is in EX+ condition, there are a few faint non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX+ condition as well, there are a few spindle marks only.
The sleeve is in VG+++ condition, there is some light wear along the bottom seam, there is a tiny tear of approx. 5 millimetres in the top left corner on the back and there is a price sticker, also on the back. Further this cover looks great, no writing or other damage than mentioned small imperfections.
This is an extremely rare 1st Dutch STEREO pressing of Rita Reys’ Congratulations in Jazz album. When this album was first released in 1965, the vast majority of all pressings were made in common mono, but this copy is in mega rare STEREO! The condition is just wonderful, the record only had a handful of plays! This is a real must have for all Dutch Vocal Jazz fans! Happy Bidding!
