Beautiful and elegantly funky Library set with lots of looped beats / spacey lounge / psychedelic harpsichord and decadent baroque pop themes. Infectious, lightly stoned arrangements to capture the mood of the jet-set high life or glamorous cocktail evening with a big nod to the early '70s lounge sound of Alessandroni. An obscure collaboration with Rino's son, Luigi, with trippy, sunkissed and carefree compositions. Our soundclip opens with the drum breaks and fender rhodes jazz funk of INTERSEZIONE followed by L'ERBA DI PRIMA / the funky waltz tempo jazz of SCIE LUMINOSE / the moody hip hop-esque drums and infectious rhythms of PHILARMONIA / PERIPLO and ORA CHE NON C' E' NESSUNO / the psychedelic hippie theme IL VERO and sophisticated baroque folk pop of GIARDINO DEI MIEI DESIDERI. Beautiful atmospheres with a mellow / sleazy undercurrent. Meditative synthesizers and jazz piano / fender bass / cool flute / exquisite guitar notes / woodwind / strings etc. A mini masterpiece of music for an unknown Italian soundtrack / radio or television programme. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in strong VG+ condition with hairlines. Light surface noises. Some soft pops / soft ticks in places, mostly due to the actual pressing. A couple of audible pops just after the beginning of L'Erba Di Prima theme. The laminated sleeve is closer to M- condition with minimal light wear. A touch of ring wear / creasing from storage. Sharp corners and edges. Ding to front, bottom spine side corner. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Library Lp!!!
