JOHN TAVENER The Whale (Rare 1977 UK 'Ring O' label) vinyl LP album with 'whale' picture labels, originally released in 1972 by Apple, performed by The London Sinfonietta with Chorus conducted by David Atherton and starring Anna Reynolds [mezzo-soprano], Raimund Herincx [baritone], Alvar Lidell [speaker] and Tavener himself on Organ and Hammond.
