Of the many orchestras and conductors that have played the music of Richard Strauss, none were more consistently better and on point than the Staatskapelle Dresden with Rudolf Kempe on the podium. They were made for the music! And these marvellous recordings from EMI are simply the best.

This 10-record box set has all the Strauss orchestral works, and the sound is superb.       The recordings were made in the early to mid-1970s, and this particular pressing is      from Germany. All 10 LPs are MINT and appear unplayed. The duo-language booklet,       which is written in German and English, is MINT. And the box is MINT.
