Richard Czerwonky ( 1886 - 1949 ) was an American musicien of Polish descent, outstanding violin-player and conductor ( also concertmaster of the Minneapolis Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, since 1918 )
2 records 12" Christschall 148-149: Vivaldi, Concerto in A minor , 2nd violin Carl Steiner, Berlin, Heinrich Steiner on piano, in 3 parts, matrices 4587, 88, 89. Side 4: Heinrich Steiner, piano; J.S. Bach, Praeludium XV, Fugue XV, Praeludium XXI from welltemp. clavier. Matrix 4630. Recorded by Tri-Ergon. Condition: 1-2; Side 4 with Heinrich Steiner = 2, one very fine scratch, not audible.

1-2 = top copy, no traces of use - virtually as new
2 = excellent copy, few light non-sounding rubs/marks
2-3 = light traces of wear (rubs/marks), very light greying and/or light scratches, non sounding blemishes
3 = a good average copy with more noticeable rubs and marks; light greying, few light scratches possible
3-4 = more traces of use, sonic wear from light greying. An inferior average copy, light scratches possible
4 = some sounding wear, heavier rubs and marks, scratches possible
5 = obvious sounding wear, heavy rubs, marks, scratches. An unsatisfactory copy.
