Description
- 12 inch, mono, LP. 33 1/3 rpm
- This is the original issue from 1966 on the Parlophone label (see notes below).

- Produced by George Martin and recorded at Abbey Road Studios
- The cover design is a mix of collage and line-drawing by Klaus Voorman
- The rear features a group photo by Robert Whitaker with full track listing and vocal credits
- Paper inner sleeve with tracing paper lining and an endorsement for Emitex cleaning cloth
- Catalogue number PMC 7009
- Matrix marks:- Side 1: XEX 605-2
- Side 2: XEX 606-2
Notes:- This is an original pressing with the black label with 'Parlophone' printed in bright yellow.
The label has 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd' printed on the edge with 'Sold in the UK...' across the middle.
Condition
- The record itself appears to be in very good condition although there are a number of slight scratches. There are no signs of warping.
- Based on the guidelines of the Record Collectors Guild, I would say this record is 'Very good'. (http://www.recordcollectorsguild.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=17&page=1)
We don't have the facility to play records so we can't attest to playback quality
The outer sleeve has number of creases, particularly at the corners with some slight ring wear. The crease in the top left corner has caused the laminate to bubble slightly. There is a small split as well. There are biro inscriptions on the rear. 'TWITE' on the flipback to the top right and 'NT' on John Lennon's cheek
The inner sleeve show signs of age and some creasing but is intact apart from a 2 split across the bottom and on both sides (a sticky label has been used to stabilise one of them). On one side, near the top is the biro inscription 'BEATLES/REVOLVER' on the left and 'TWITE' to the right.
