"MANHATTEN CYCLES"
Rare 1973 release on the famed India Navigation label from this legendary free/avant jazz outfit, who would later record for ESP Disk among other labels, and whose members would go on to play with George Lewis, assorted AACM personnel, members of MEV, etc. The pieces on this LP were composed by the legendary Leo Smith and arranged by the Ensemble. The album was recorded LIVE in concert on December 31, 1972. The lineup is: Leroy Jenkins on violin and viola, Jerome Cooper on drums, bugle, metal hoops, flute, and tape recorder, and Sirone on bass.
Vinyl is in STUNNING NEAR MINT condition! This is a TOP COPY of this classic lp. To my knowledge this hasn't been reissued.
