REPRO 78 - UNDER THE BOARDWALK - RARE! - & UP ON THE ROOF - THE DRIFTERS. Condition is "Used". Under the Boardwalk charted #4 on the Billboard Top 40 in 1964 and Up on the Roof charted #5 in 1962
This is a very nice copy. There are no scratches and the record plays great.
Under the Boardwalk is one of my best finds. I was collecting for many years before I even knew it existed. It was one of five records put out by Jukebox Junction under the Classic Wax label. I ended up with two copies of the record. One I got from the estate of a collector. This record was part of complete set of the Jukebox Junction records. The label had been misprinted. It was missing the song name, artist, and the info on the right side of the label. The owner had hand printed the name on the label. The printing was faint and without any care about how it looked. I copied the label from my other record and pasted the missing parts onto the existing label. You can see this in the photograph.
Of the two copies that I have, this is the better playing of the two (the other copy is good, but this is just a little bit better). I have about 90 other reproduction records up for bid. I will combine shipping for $4.50 plus $1.00 per additional record up to a maximum of $8.00.
