PRETTY WOMAN - ROY ORBISON & MY GIRL - THE TEMPTATIONS. ONE OF A KIND CUSTOM ACETATE CUT IN 2005.
I bought my Wurlitzer Victory 42 in 2004 but was having troubles finding records. In 2005, I found a fellow who cut custom records for not too much money. My original plan was to have twenty five two-sided records cut, but my wife objected (I had already spent too much on the jukebox). The titles that didn't get made included The Rolling Stones "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" & the Beatles "Back In the USSR". By the time I decided to order more records, the gentleman had passed away. Oh what could have been.
This custom acetate was on my jukebox from 2005 to 2019. It has fingerprint smudges and could use a little cleaning, but Pretty Woman has no scratches and My Girl only has one small scratch that doesn't affect the play. Over the years, the Victory 42 became a repair nightmare, so the records were not played that much. The record plays as well as the first day I got it.
I have a lot of 78 rpm Reproduction Records (from incomplete reproduction sets) that I am selling individually. Also, five complete Reproduction sets, and several custom acetates (Pretty Woman is one) along with a few original acetate 78s (including a Pasty Cline).
I will Combine shipping for $1.00 for each additional record up to a maximum of $8.00. As a bonus, the five bidders with the most records with have their records shipped in a custom box complete with original graphics as shown in the photos above (which box to be determine)
