Description
Lite blue label Cambridge Records #121103/121104 from July '66 in Grand Rapids, MI.
"SHE'S YOUR FIND" (a garage rocker with one of the coolest guitar solos ever!) b/w "RAVING BLUE" (a killer slow number with pretty guitar work.) Both feature the vocals of Scott Vanderleest and the guitar work of Fitz Green.
Although this was not released on Fenton, this band was among the first to wax for Fenton -- the fourth Fenton release was #945 credited to "The Renegades IV" with two instrumentals, Greensleeves b/w Autumn Night. This was recorded at Midwestern Sound in East Grand Rapids around the same time as the Everyday Things 45, so you could also say this is Kingtones-related since Phil Roberts ran that studio. http://www.kingtones.com/
Vinyl's EX-: shiny with a couple scuffs. Both sides play real clean. I heard a couple insignificant pops in the beginning of the A-side but they're not very noticeable. The music's good and loud!
