Rare & much sought after Jazz/Funk/Psych LP with the track 'Scrabble'

sampled by J. Dilla for 'F**k the Police'.

Pressed in Belgium and released on Chappell CMM 226.

When tilted under normal lighting both sides have a couple of faint surface marks visible.

Under halogen lights the marks mentioned above appear more prominently and there are just a few more light marks visible on both sides. 

Play grades EX.

Sounds great! All music/vocal passages play clearly & brightly with no sticks, jumps, skips  & no evidence of groove wear.  

There is a little light crackle in the run in areas and there is a little faint surface noise between some tracks which is a little more audible between tracks 2/3 & 3/4 on side 2. 

There are a couple of quiet 'clicks' at the start of each side and x6 very quiet 'tics' at the start of track 3 on side 2 .

Laminated sleeve grades VG.

Would be graded as EX but has a crease alongside the opening on the front which has a small horizontal closed tear [see photo]. 

Plain white inner grades as VG.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.
