Description
If you know the Renaissance, you know that this double LP called "In The Beginning", including both the 'Prologue' and 'Ashes Are Burning' LPs are some of the best music they recorded. Incredible progressive band, mixing rock with classical and done so much better than ELP ever did. Of course, it helps that singer Annie Haslam, has an incredible multi octave voice. This collection includes both LPs in their entirety, including their classic songs "Prologue", "Kiev", and "Sounds Of The Sea" (Prologue LP), with "Can You Understand", "Carpet Of The Sun" and the title track from 'Ashes Are Burning'. And the vinyl on this is SO CLOSE to Near Mint, one mark away! Super shiny, great color, and only the one mark which doesn't cause skipping, its very light, this is, and I've listened to it, incredibly great vinyl. The gatefold cover has no splitting, good edges, a lightly worn spine, and almost no shelf and NO ringwear. SUPER GREAT ALL AROUND COPY with gorgeous vinyl. Excellent music, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY OUR STORE! International buyers: If you'd like to purchase more than one item, let me know, I'll put them in a package at one price, then you will only be charged one shipping price. Looking to save you some money. Please see all photos before bidding, and be sure to check out our store full of familiar / scarce / hard to find, and RARE vinyl, books, etc. If you are age 60 or older, a US Military Veteran, or a Public Servant (thanks to all for your service to our country), send me a message for a 10% discount. I always do the best I can to describe it. Questions? Message me. I'll listen to it again upon request. We will also review bulk purchases for a discount, just send me a list of your items and your offer. If you have anything you're looking for and don't see, message us, we have HUNDREDS not posted. Note: unless its Sealed, used vinyl will almost always have some noise somewhere in its approximately 45 minutes of music. It is a wonderful part of the experience. Someone else loved this, and you are giving it a loving new home, and it says: THANK YOU! in the grooves. Reissues are usually remastered and often remixed, and do not sound the same as the originals, for better, often for worse. We endorse original vinyl! So, Thanks for supporting original vinyl!
